Abstract: Several works have been published on animals in Somaliland and its neighbors, but many of these are out of data and/or include regions that are not part of Somaliland. This checklist is the result of critical review of such resources. It includes the terrestrial mammals known or suspected to be present in Somaliland within the last 200 years or so.
