This collection consists of images recorded by or provided to staff of the University of Hargeisa's Biodiversity Museum. With the affordability of high quality digital cameras, images may be preferable to specimens, particularly of large animals, for occurrence records. It is, of course, necessary that they show the creatures identifying characteristics.
